March Round Up

Another month gone by and the end of my second year at uni is edging closer and closer. March has been all over the place, it's seen me feeling pretty low to feeling super high and thank god it's ending on a high.

I attended a blog event early on in the month to my local Body Shop here at uni. It was a lovely evening of mingling and eyeing up products and I left with a huge sack of goodies (and a £15 Wagamamas gift voucher that I'm still yet to use). I have since been OBSESSED with the Pina Colada shower gel and the Banana hair mask - it leaves my hair feeling like silk!

On my course, there's three third year routes; Tour, Festival and Commission. It all kicks off with tour and this year they performed On The Town and oh my goodness has it made me even more hungry to get on to that route. I'm forever blown away by the talent on our course and despite being 'just a uni' the standards are up there with the vocational courses. I can't wait to see the rest of the third year shows now!

The third and final stand out moment of this month was the Social Media Olympics training in Leicester. If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I started my own journey in the beauty business way back in November. I've been a bit on and off with it all, worried about what people might think. But attending these events and meeting so many inspiring, like minded people has made me so passionate about it. This 'job' works perfectly around my extensive uni hours and gives me the freedom to do what I want with my weekends but still earn money.  The best part about it is that I love the products I sell. Every single one I have tried has impressed me so much. I must admit I was very sceptical in the beginning but have been completely converted!

Products of the month

I wanted to include some products I've been loving in March too. Starting with the Botanics Nourishing Facial Oil, I apply this religiously morning and night. It is the best facial oil I have ever used, even better than my beloved rose hip oil! It hydrates so well and leaves your skin with a beautiful dewy glow. I will definitely be repurchasing.

Next up is the Make Up Revolution Concealers, I've done a full review on my blog before but honestly they are game changers. The finish I get with theses is similar to those I'd pay more than triple the price for. If you're still yet to try them, what the bloody hell are you waiting for?

And finally, I can't go without mentioning my beloved Power Lips. They officially launched this month and I finally got my hands on some more shades. Persistence and Breadwinner to be specific. Both shades I adore and wear regularly for uni but Persistence has rapidly become my go-to shade and I get so many compliments when I'm wearing it.

I hope you all had a wonderful March and here's to April!
