With Autumn being my favourite time of year, I've decided to do a three-part series consisting of skincare, make up and fashion picks that I've been loving since we kissed summer goodbye. Kicking things off with skincare...

My skin gets super dry this time of year, so I like to start by cleansing using a creamy, nourishing cleanser like the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser. It removes dirt and make up leaving your skin clean but not stripped. If you suffer with dry skin and want extra exfoliation try using it with a facial cleansing brush like Panasonic 3-in1 Micro Foaming Facial Cleansing brush. The combination of the two will leave your skin soft and clean.

Next up I like to go in with an oil, my favourite for a while has been the Sukin Rose hip Oil. It's super hydrating and leaves my skin feeling baby soft. Rose hip has lots of skincare benefits such as anti-aging properties, reduces scarring as well as improving skin texture and tone. As it is quite oily, it's not ideal for just before make up, so I opt for something lighter like the Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA, it's a zero fuss moisturiser that acts as a great base for make up. It has no scent and doesn't claim to work miracles, I think that's why I love it so much - it's affordable and does the job.

As well as manual exfoliation, I once a week use the Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution. You leave it on for ten minutes and it helps remove any dead skin cells and visibly brightens the skin.

Lastly, my lips always need some TLC this time of year. Berry liquid lipsticks and the cold weather plus the classic freshers flu wreak havoc on my lips, so I've been slathering on lip balm. My favourite at the minute is the Glossier Birthday Balm Dotcom, it smells like cake and it even has tiny little specks of glitter in it!

I've said this a million and one times before, Autumn is my favourite season for beauty and fashion trends. I love gravitating to warm, orange, fallen-leaves inspired tones on eyes, lips and even cheeks. Naturally, the first post in this series is a lip post. I find lips the easiest to do when it comes to following trends so here are a selection that I've been swearing by:

1. Barry M Matte Me Up - Go To
I've done a full review of the Barry M Matte Me up's a while back but they continue to be one of the best formula of liquid lipsticks on the high street. This shade is a lovely warm brown, that gives a look of something on the lips without being too in-your-face. Paired with a matte brown shadow and you've got an everyday monochromatic look.

A cult favourite in the beauty world, this shade is slightly redder in tone but still pulls quite brown. In Terms of longevity, this is not the best formula - you will need to re-apply every couple of hours. However the colour is super flattering on most skin tones.

3. NYX Lingerie liquid lipstick - Exotic
I've been after a rusty/brick red for a while and this one from NYX has hit the nail on the head. I often get asked what lipstick I'm wearing when I'm sporting this. It's a red without being as high-maintanence as a true red. I've been pairing this with a rich warm, coppery eye.

Something slightly cooler in tone but still has an autumn vibe about it. When I think of this shade I instantly imagine a high neck, over-sized knit jumper, top knot and minimal make up. It's interesting and unexpected, which is why it made it onto my Autumn picks.

TOP-BOTTOM: Cashmire, Exotic, Lolita, Go-to.

What are your ride-or-die autumnal lip colours?
