IT Cosmetics CC Cream review

I must have missed the memo that IT Cosmetics had landed in Selfridges London because I genuinely lost my shit when I saw the counter. I'd seen so much about the brand and as far as I was aware, the only place I could purchase it from was QVC. I'm never one for guessing my shades online and purchasing on a whim, if I'm spending that much on something I want to know what I'm getting, so ultimately I never bought anything.

One stand out product that gets a stupid amount of attention online is the CC Cream, not to be confused with those light-weight, sheer coverage, tinted moisturiser-esque products that brands released a couple of years a go. Oh no. This packs some serious full coverage punch, whilst being SPF50(!!) AND also contains anti-aging and super hydrating properties.

I have been reaching for daily. It's super easy to throw on and I don't have to worry about sunscreen and moisturiser, I can save time in the morning because it's all included. I usually go for more of a medium coverage for every day, one pump of this is more than enough so I know I wont be going through the 32ml very quickly.

I'm using the shade light, despite the lightest shade they do actually matches me perfectly because I am partial to a bit of fake tan, so I opted for the darker shade to make sure my neck matched my body.

In all honesty, the finish doesn't blow me away. Not in a Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation/Nars Sheer Glow kinda way. It's just pretty average, ideal for everyday wear but you'd need another foundation if you wanted a more flawless evening finish. Perhaps it's my stressed, shitty skin at the minute but I don't love it, I'm just reaching for it because it's there.

Would I repurchase? Probably not and now that I've mentioned it, I think I might repurchase the CT one.

Life + Blog Update...

Lets just say coming back to university has been the biggest shock to the system since, well, birth.

I'm talking 8am till 8pm days rammed full of rehearsals and assessment classes. Of course, I wouldn't change it for the world and I bloody love my course,  but I definitely appreciate the weekend a lot more now than I ever have in my life.

My mind is full of ballet and tap routines, audition routines, audition songs, monologues, duologues leaving little room for my beloved blog. However, I'm determined to keep this going as much as possible! My blog is my little escape and it's definitely not getting tossed aside, it's simply taking a back seat. My aim is at least one blogpost and one video a week, unless I find time or inspiration for more.

My new schedule will be Saturdays for blog posts and I will continue posting videos on Sundays over on my youtube channel.

A massive thank you to everyone who follows and reads my posts and I can't wait to continue improving my content! Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see from me.
