#FASHIONFRIDAYS | Pinterest Made Me Do It

I could spend hours and hours scrolling, pinning and getting an enormous amount of inspiration from Pinterest. Initially, I couldn't understand it so I left it for ages but I've come back to it this year and it's slowly become an obsession.

I pin a lot of 'style' images for outfit ideas, I honestly thing it's entirely to blame for my addiction to buying clothes. Instead of lobbing everything onto the ever-growing board, I've started a seasonal style board - Autumnal Style

Without realising I've been pinning essentially the same image over and over, perhaps with different camis and different cardigans but it's the same combination.

I always gravitate towards cardigans during autumn, they're great to throw on over the top of a summery outfit to give it a transitional feel. Plus they're cosy, comfy and all round fab. This god awful weather we've had this summer has made my craving for autumnal clothes come slightly early and so I picked up this £13 cardigan from Primark this week, in a size large for extra cosy-ness.

Camis are standard in most peoples wardrobe, I wanted something a little more summery/feminine with the lace to contrast the chunky knit. This was £3 in Primark - sorry everything in my wardrobe is suddenly primark, it appears my on and off love affair with it is well and truly on at the mo.

In a lot of the images the girls are wearing lots of jewellery but I've tried it with layered necklaces but the tangling of them all stresses me out, so I kept things simple with this delicate wishbone necklace from H&M.

My skinny jeans are Topshop Jamie Jeans, they're my all time favourite jeans. Super comfortable, high waisted and finish just above the ankle. I've had these for years! I definitely want to repurchase some without the rips in the knees though.

Pair this look with your favourite heeled boots and you've got a cute autumnal, every-day look. I think this would look perfect for uni/sixth form.
