It's constantly drilled into us the importance of taking care of our skin and ensuring make up is properly removed at the end of the day. It can be a total drag and the convince of a scrubbing a make up wipe over our face is temping, on the other hand, my skin never looks or feels as amazing as it does after a good ol' proper cleanse.

I ran out of the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser and in all honesty I was getting fed up of it running out without warning and not being able to see how much product I had left. I imagine that even though the pump wasn't picking it up, there was still a couple more uses left.  I was on the hunt for something different, a product that let me control how much was dispensed.

A lovely assistant at lush gave me a demo of the Ultrabland Facial Cleanser on the back of my hand and I loved the thick, creamy constancy that left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated yet clear of any make up. I wear a lot of make up on a daily basis such as full coverage foundation, concealer etc. and then on top of it all I do a lot of dancing so I'm definitely not doing my skin any favours and I need something heavy duty to eradicate the dirt.

It contains ingredients like Almond Oil to hydrate, Rose Water to soothe, Beeswax to moisturise and Honey for antibacterial qualities. It breaks down the make up and lifts the dirt from the skin leaving it feeling nourished. My skin has also improved quite dramatically over the past couple of months, it could be partly down to my age and quite possibly growing out of my teenage acne phrase *fingers crossed* but I believe this cleanser has helped ensure my skin is in the best possible condition at the end of the day.

I scoop out a small amount and massage it over my skin, really taking my time to get the blood pumping around my face. Then I dampen a wash cloth and wipe it off, likewise it can be wiped away using a cotton pad, ideal for on the go.

Lush gets endless appraisal over here on deliciously-floral and I'm afraid it's not stopping anytime soon.

LUSH ULTRABLAND - £7.95 (45g)  - I purchased the smaller size to test out which lasted me just over a month and so invested in the 100g size which again, is lasting me a ages.

What's your favourite LUSH skincare product?

Dark circles? concealer, Blemish? Concealer, life falling apart? Concealer.
Concealer is just one of those products that I literally could not live without. I usually have about four or five on the go at once because they all do different things to help fix the tragedy that is also known as my face.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin concealer has been loved and raved about by every beauty guru on the internet and beyond and so has been on my wish list for as long as it's been around. It promises to be full coverage whilst remaining light weight, which is everything you could ever want in a concealer.

I haven't used anything else for underneath my eyes since I opened it on Christmas day because there is nothing quite like it. I have mine in the shade Fair neutral which is a couple of shades lighter than my actual skin tone for a more highlighted effect. Because it is so pigmented I could not get away with using this on my blemishes but the formula doesn't cling to dry areas or crease so would be perfect for that too. Although at the minute I'm loving the Make Up For Ever full coverage concealer for pesky spots, let me know in the comments if you would like to see a review of that.

A little goes such a long way and the flat doe foot applicator makes it easy to control how much product you apply, so I feel I'm getting the most out of my money, especially when it costs £17.50 I don't want to be going through it quicker than you can say concealer.

Absolutely 100% worth the hype. I want to purchase it in my actual shade so I can use it for blemishes on the go.
