Whilst shopping for clothes in the January sales is my idea of hell, I love a getting a good ol' beauty bargain. Brands launch limited edition collections in time for Christmas and then anything left post-xmas gets reduced, but you never know what's going to be left so it's all a bit pot luck.

The Stila Star Light, Star Bright palette was regularly featured on Stila's instagram page and every time I saw it I fell in love, but I could never bring my self to spend £32 on it. I certainly wasn't expecting it to end up in the sale section of M&S, however there it was reduced to £19 - which seemed much more acceptable.

The texture is unlike anything I already own (lol any better excuse for buying more make up?). It is bouncy to the touch, with a cool creamy texture in the pan but blends like a powder with a completely weightless finish - does that make any sense? probably not.

Bottom - Top - Transcendent, Kitten, Bronze.

Star light, Star Bright contains three shades, all of which can be bought individually and they're called 'Heaven's Hue Highlightet'.

Transcendence: a blue-toned pink, for an etherial look. Would look beautiful on pale complexions.

Kitten: a rose gold shimmer, to brighten up an every day look.

Bronze: a bronze shimmer (shock) to add warmth and glow.

All the shades are very pigmented and capture the light beautifully. They can be worn alone or layered with other highlighters for an intense strobe look. I vary between using my fingers to apply or the Zoeva Luxe Highlighting Brush.

All in all, I am very glad I decided to pick this up eventually and has already seen a lot of use.
