Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama | Review

I'm literally obsessed with Gigi Hadid, she's absolutely flawless and her style is impeccable and the majority of my Pinterest and daily inspiration comes from her. As she's the campaign girl for The Falsies Push Up Drama Mascara (Jeez Louise thats a mouthful) I had to go out my way to purchase it.

I have previously owned and loved the other mascaras in their 'Falsies' range, so I was keen to see how this differed. For starters, this packaging is gorgeous, I love the metallic pink and reds, the shape is so different for Maybelline and I like it. The plastic wand might be a deal breaker for a lot of people, it's not going to be for everyones taste but I love how the short bristles really coat each and every lash without it being messy.

The formula is something I'm still trying to work out if I like. It's jet black and really lifts and defines the lashes, giving great length and volume. The only problem I have with it is that it takes absolutely ages to dry, which then can make the whole thing quite a messy process, especially as I have hooded eyes and my lashes tend to touch my upper lid.

I have to say, the finish (once it has dried) is lovely, my lashes do have that false lash look about them, they look really fanned out and lengthened and this mascara can be layered a few times without looking clumpy.

Would I repurchase? probably not, there are mascaras on the market that I like more. I would love to try it in a waterproof formula though.
