Express Tanning | St.Moriz Fast Tan Review

I'm probably the most impatient person you'll ever meet, which is why the prospect of applying tan and having to wait about 6 years for it to develop is not appealing in the slightest. It was like the tanning gods finally answered my prayers when they started releasing tans that developed in just 1 hour.

I've swore by the St. Tropez Self Tan Express for the longest time, but at full price it costs around £30 and I was searching for something similar but at a fraction of the cost. Along came the St.Moriz Fast Self Tanning Mousse, at just £5.99 it was worth a shot.

The mousse formula is identical to the St.Tropez offering, however the smells vary. The St.Moriz is heavily scented which I'm guessing is to distract from the not so sweet smell of digestive biscuits, however it isn't long before the nice smell wears away.

For a light tan you leave it for an hour, a deeper tan for 2 hours and a dark tan for three. I left it on for three hours then rinsed it off with luke warm water in the shower. Unlike the ST.Tropez, the colour isn't completely washed away, it stays on the skin and continues to develop, a long with the biscuit scent.

I love the finished colour of the St.Moritz, it's much more golden and darker than the St.Tropez and once I've had a shower in the morning the biscuit scent isn't noticeable. I much prefer the St.Moriz version, it's even more of a bonus that it's a complete bargain in comparison and at the minute fake tan is on three for two at Boots so go grab it whilst you can!
