Eyes to Mesmerise

I spend hours and hours binge watching Charlotte Tilbury's YouTube Videos, making lists as long as my arm of the products I want to try from her range. However, it's hellishly expensive so on a recent trip into Birmingham Selfridges, I limited myself to one thing and after much debating I went for the Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadow in the shade Bette - A warm coppery bronze.

The pot is so bloody luxurious, the glass base and the lid embossed with Charlotte's signature rose gold logo standout within my make-up collection. But of course, it's the product inside that is certainly drool-worthy. It's a weightless cream formula, packed with immense pigment and a metallic wet look finish.

The only thing I was dissapointed about was the longevity; within a couple of hours of wear it had collected in the crease. Concidering it cost £22 I was hoping it wouldn't need a primer underneath. The creasing was even worse once I had layered it up for an evening event for an intense finish.

The colour and the finish is nothing like I've ever owned before and as long as I wear a primer underneath I can get the most beautiful eye shadow look suitable for both day and evening. Plus it makes my dark blue eyes stand out a treat and I'd imagine it would look just as beautiful on all eye colours.

You can purchase Charlotte Tilbury products from Selfridges and Charlottetilbury.com, however I noticed on the John Lewis Instagram this week that they were doing a shoot with her, hopefully this means she's coming to JL - hello 25% off!
