L'oreal Paris L'ombre Pure Eyeshadow | Cafe Saint Germain

top - swatched once, bottom - swatched wet

I never usually buy single eye shadows, they usually get shoved into my storage and never used. I prefer palettes because all the shades I need are all together. Although Amelia Liana has raved on and on about the L'oreal Individual eye shadows, so I decided I'd pick one up.

The shade Cafe Saint Germain is a gorgeous soft shimmery taupe, leaning towards the more lilac side. When swatched, the formula is smooth and gorgeous, almost creamy in texture. However the pigmentation of this particular shade isn't all that great, you really have to pack repeatedly to get good colour pay off.

However, lightly washed over the lid, it leaves a soft sheen of colour making it a great option for work or school. I've swatched a few other shades in store that seem to have a little more pigment too them, but as I said I don't really reach for individual shades and seeing as I wasn't totally wowed by this one, I don't think I'll be picking up any more.

If you've tried these any of these shadows, what did you think?
