Exaggerate Full Colour Lipliner - East End Snob | Rimmel London

I've unfortunately been cursed with the gene that left me without a top lip when a smile. In comparison to my lower lip, the top lacks massively in the plump department and since Kylie Jenner happened, I've been keen to try lip  liners that can help with that fuller effect.

A popular drugstore option is Rimmel Exaggerate Lip liner in East End Snob, also known as a dupe for the cult Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. The colour is a beautiful matte pink, your lips but better shade.

It's twist up packaging means no product is wasted through sharpening, love! And the shape of the liner itself is slightly slanted and so glides across the lips beautifully. However the formula really doesn't live up to the hype. It feels very sticky on the lips and I find it can give that prune lips effect.
Although the latter can be cured using a balm, but then it takes away from that matte finish I like.

Whilst everything else ticks the boxes, I can't get past the formula. I guess you can't have everything. Although I'm sure the stickiness would work wonderfully underneath a lipstick and would probably improve wear time massively, but it's a big no no on it's own.
