September Favourites 2014

Autumn (or fall, depending on where you're from) is here at last! As cliche as it sounds, I genuinely cannot believe how fast September has gone, didn't seem thirty seconds ago that I was panicking about my first day at college and now I'm well and truly settled in. A lot of things have changed for me and one of the massive factors is the lack of free time I now have. By the time I'm home from college I'm either A. Too tired (or in too much pain) to even move or B. it's too dark to take pictures, which has meant my blog has taken a bit of a back seat in my life. Unfortunately this means I'm going to only be uploading when I can rather than sticking to a schedule and stressing because I can't keep up with it. Any ways, enough with the waffling, lets crack on with my favourites for the wonderful month of September.

I'm going to start with a few random bits and bobs and the first is my yoga mat. A massive part of my course is dance based so it's so important to keep flexible, but at the same time there are a ton of yoga routines on YouTube that really help with sore muscles. It's really comfy and just makes doing routines a lot easier.
Next are my River Island Boots. I've mentioned these a few times, there incredible comfortable and they just look amazing with everything I wear and I'm absolutely gutted I can't wear them till my shin splints have gone. You can see them here.
Another massive favourite is spotify. It costs me £4.99 a month which is amazing concidering the amount of music that is actually on there. The offline feature means I can still enjoy the music even with the unreliable bus wifi, It's so much cheaper than having to go out and buy all the albums I want at the moment and I don't have to go through itunes and sync albums to my laptop then my phone, then my ipod.. yawn.

Right, on to beauty favourites. Firstly is my Urban Decay Naked Palette, I know I featured this in my August Favourites but I have to give it another special mention in this months too. I've pretty much used it every day since I bought it so I can't not mention it again, it's just wonderful.
I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dip Brow Pomade in the shade blonde at the end of last month and much like the Naked Palette, I've used it every day since. I find the best way to apply it is with a Mac 266. I have a full review of it here, along with swatches.
An unexpected favourite comes from the Seventeen Gel Liner. I picked this up because it was cheap and I needed it for a look, to my surprise it's actually one of the best I've ever tried. It sets and doesn't budge at all - full review here
My final make-up favourite is definitely my Maybelline Colour Elixir in the shade Caramel Infused. It's a perfect every day nude that's non sticky and offers the perfect amount of pigmentation and hydration.

I've really been enjoying embracing my natural hair this month and I think a special shoutout goes to my Bumble and bumble thickening mousse for making my curls look fuller without the frizz. I have a review of it here.

I am actually obessed with the Dolly Mixtures Bubble Gum shower gel. It smells abso-flipping-lutely amazing, although it definitely doesn't taste as nice as it smells. The scent also hangs around so I occasionally get a waft of bubble gum through out the day - yum!

I hope everyone has had a fab september and an even better October, remember to keep your eye out for my Halloween make-up ideas coming soon!
