Urban Decay Naked Palette

I know, I know, I'm like 3000 years behind everyone else at hopping on this bandwagon.
I spent way too much time hunting around for dupes and purchasing every single one out there and hating each and every one of them. However I was really struggling with parting with £37 for a palette so that's why I'm so behind on this hype. But never the less, I am here, fully aboard and in love!

I'm just going to start by saying this palette is worth every single hard earned penny you spend on it. You can buy the MUA alternative for a mere £4 and whilst you get similar colours you simply don't get the quality (or the brush, primers or fab packaging)

There are 12 warm toned neutral shadows ranging from dark to light, with hints of pinks, blues and golds, all wrapped up in velvet packaging that contains a duel ended brush and a mirror. I haven't even touched any of my other shadows since purchasing this, seriously nothing compares not even my Mac shades.

It also came with 4 x 7 day samples of their primers which is very generous and I'm already a huge fan of the original primer potion so I'm excited to try the others.

Bottom - Top: Sin, Virgin, Naked, Side Car, Buck, Half Baked, Smog

Bottom - Top:  Half Baked, Smog, Dark Horse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

As I said before the colours are incredibly pigmented and buttery in formula, they're an absolute dream to blend.

Virgin - A pale shimmery pink, perfect for an inner corner or brow bone highlight.
Sin - A darker, more shimmery version of Virgin. This looks stunning washed across the lid for a minimal look.
Naked - A matte light brown. This is my favourite crease shade, it looks so natural. It's a slightly warmer version of Mac Omega.
Side Car - A shimmery taupe.
Buck - A warm toned brown, it's much warmer than Naked and can be paired with cooler toned make up look to warm them up.
Half Baked - An absolutely stunning gold. This is probably my favourtie shade from the palette, I cannot get over how gorgeous it looks washed across the lid. It looks just as beautiful placed in the centre of the lid over the top of a deep smokey eye to bring a bit a hint of light.
Smog - A dark warm toned brown with a gold shimmer running through it. It's very comparable to Mac Woodwinked, only slightly darker.
Dark Horse - A very dark brown with a slight shimmer.
Toasted - A light minky shade, looks beautiful paired with Half Baked.
Hustle - A true shimmery minky shade, a few shades darker than Toasted.
Creep- A black with blue glitters running through it.
Gunmetal - A blue toned gun metal grey.

One of my favourite everyday looks with this palette was created by a beautiful Youtuber called Kayla Hagey, you can watch it here

This palette is perfect for weddings, proms and every day looks. If you're like me and have pondered about getting this palette then seriously bite the bullet and go for it, I promise you will not regret it (your bank balance might hate you but hey, no pain no gain right?).
