The Perfect Foundation

I'm pretty sure I've spent the best part of 5 years trying to find the best foundation, everything was either to orange or to light, too sheer or too heavy, clung to dry patches or moved around my face. The list was endless. But up until about 2 weeks ago there was only one foundation on my list that I was desperate to try; Nars Sheer Glow foundation. This beauty has been raved about by everyone and their mother, so I was keen to see what the fuss was about.

Costing just under £30, it's definitely not the cheapest option (especially as it doesn't come with a pump, damn you Nars) but my oh my, it is worth every last penny. I was colour matched to the shade Mont Blanc (light 2) and I have to say it's pretty much spot on. But enough of that, lets get on to the best part about this foundation; the formula. The lady on the counter told me it was a light- medium coverage, but I definitely think its more on the medium- full coverage side. However, it's not the slightest bit heavy and instead of clinging to dry patches, it glides over them perfecting every inch of skin whilst doing so.

The weather at the moment is definitely more on the warmer side, the time when most people would be reaching for their tinted moisturisers and BB creams, instead I just take about a pea sized blob and distribute it out over my face and it still has amazing covering qualities but still feels light. Nothing I've ever used before compares to it and I don't think i'll ever find anything else I love as much.

Although it's recommended for those with normal-dry skin, I have combination/oily and it still works for me. It's not overly glowy that you end up looking like greasy mess, it's got the perfect amount of luminosity to really lift the skin and make you look more healthy.

I've also tried this on a night out and it has absolutely no flashback and photographs beautifully, perfect!

If you've been debating whether to get this, all i'm going to say is that it's worth the hype.
