May Favourites 2014

Here we are again, it's the end of the month which can only mean another month worth of favourites. My first favourite comes from an amazing spot cream I've discovered from none other than the wonderful Home Bargins. Costing only £1.99, Teangi cream is a antiseptic cream with tea tree and witch hazel that aim to help repair the skin, perfect for spots. At the beginning of the month, my skin was terrible until I was recommended this and I now swear by it whenever I get a break out.

Next up is my new favourite go-to lipstick. I've been reaching for MAC Patisserie almost every day since I got it, I have an entire blog post dedicated to it here.

Garnier have really been hitting the mark recently, their most recent release is no different. The Garnier Miracle Skin Cream is mainly advertised as an anti aging product, but don't let that put you off. It's a white cream that, when in contact with your skin, transforms to match your skin tone. I've been using this as a sheer base as it's a perfect slap on and go product. It offers a ton of hydration and leaves my skin glowy and luminous. Which leads me straight on to my next favourite, the Bourjois Bronzing Primer. I'm love how natural cream products look, especially this one. Faux tan in a pot that's practically impossible to mess up, what more could a girl want? To then compliment the bronze glow, I've been using this ELF all over colour stick in the shade Permisson. This was raved as a NARS multiple dupe when I bought it, whilst it doesn't live up to that description, it does an amazing job at adding a stunning glow to the skin.

After going to a party earlier on in the month, I've rediscovered my love for the Creightons Bronze ambitions Glow 'n' Go instant tan shimmer. It's the best wash off fake tan I've ever used and it's a complete bargin at being less than £2. No streaks and a pleasant scent (not the slightest bit biscuity), this will always be my go to instant tan.

Dr Bronners magic soap definitely deserves a place on my May favourites because it's just so damn good at cleaning make-up brushes. It leaves them absolutely spotless, smelling like peppermint yet leaves them soft and fluffy, almost restoring them to their original state.

Last month I featured a shoe favourite and completely by accident this month I have another. However instead of a pair of converse, I'm loving my black barely there heels from Matalan. They're surprisingly comfy and they will definitely get a ton of wear out of them. Want to know the best part? They're £9.50.

Part of me really doesn't want May to end, purely because June means one thing for me - exams. Bring on the 17th where my hell (also known as Sixth form) ends. I hope your June is much more fun filled than mine.

(I wanted to apologise for a number of things, the first being the lack of posts. I'm currently bogged down with revision so am only able to do one blog post maximum per week. I'm also sorry for the dreadful quality of these pictures, the camera I was using had given up on me so i'm having to use the 'family camera' which is dreadful, but it will do, don't even get me started on the shocking lighting. The weather is so dull and rainy that there is literally no good lighting in my house.)
