The Lip Product Addict Tag

I just finished watching Amelia Liana's recent video on her new tag with Essiebutton called 'The Lip Product Addict Tag' and being an absolute lip product fanatic I figured this tag was practically screaming at me to do it, so enjoy!...

1. Favourite Balm/Treatment?
I own about 50 billion lip balms but my favourite has to be my EOS Balm. Not necessarily for the formula but more for how convenient it is to carry around with me. It smells gorgeous and it's also ridiculously satisfying applying it to your lips with it's unusual spherical shape, making it the one I always end up reaching for.

2. Best Eye Catching Red?
MAC Ruby Woo wins hands down. I don't care how drying the formula is, the colour, the pigmentation and the lasting power of this beautiful product is simply amazing.

3. Best Luxury & Best drugstore?
The best luxury has to be my YLS Rouge Volupte shine, the colour is beautiful, the packaging is beautiful, the formula is beautiful... you know what, I could probably go on forever about how much I love them. I've written an entire blog post dedicated to them.  Read it here- link
The best drug store has to be Topshop (it counts as drugstore in my books). They have such a great colour selection with the best formulas available on the highstreet. They 're  luxurious without the luxury pricetag.

4. Best MAC Lipstick?
It's probably a tie between Rebel and Patisserie. I get so many compliments when wearing rebel, but I get more wear out of Patisserie as it's the one I reach for everyday. To be honest all MAC lipsticks in general are flipping beautiful.

5. The most disappointing?
The Revlon ColourBurst lacquer balm in Whimsmical Fantaisiste (115). It's the shade that's really let me down more than the formula. I bought this thinking it would be a glossy dupe for MAC rebel but its not even close. Its glittery, doesn't apply evenly and was just an all round waste of money.

6. Liner- Yes or No?
At the moment no. I can't seem to get the hang of using a nude one to make my lips appear bigger, it just looks messy, but practice makes perfect, right? As for bold colours, I've found not wearing one doesn't make a difference as to when I do. I guess it just depends on the lip liner you use and how precise you are with application.

7. Best Gloss?
NYX Butter Glosses are heaven in a bottle. I have an entire review of them here- link

9. Something extra?
The Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets are amazing! They're a hybrid between a stain and a liquid lipstick so I'm not sure what category they would fall in, but they're virtually weightless on the lips and last all day! I also think it's essential to invest in a lip scrub, my favourite is the Lush Bubblegum Lip scrub. All lip products apply better to smooth hydrated lips and scrubs just remove any of the dead skin (ew) from chapped lips, revealing, what feels like, a new set of lips.

This is such a cute little tag, so I tag everyone!
