OOTD- Party! (Make-up, Hair and Outfit)

Outfit

(ps. Lets just ignore the shocking lighting, background and quality of these. It's the last time i'm ever allowing my sister to take my outfit pictures.)

Dress- Forever21 ($17.99). I purchased it way back in February when I was in New York. I figured this dress is quite different to what I'm used to, by that I mean it's very fitted, which meant going on a cake/treat ban a week prior to the party. No pain no gain, right?
Shoes- Matalan (£7.50). I wanted a pair like this from Zara for £30, but the day before I was going to get them, I came across these, what an absolute bargin! Couldn't say no really.
Clutch- TKmaxx, it's Fiorelli and perfect for carrying the essentials.

As for jewellery, I kept things simple with some gold studs and a few gold coloured midi rings- Both from Primark.

Make-up

I went for minimal, bronzey make-up to prevent any clashing. I washed MAC Tan pigment over my lids and blended well, with lots of lashes! I then paired this with bronzed, glowy skin and a glossy nude lip.

I also did a spot of fake tan, using Creightons Bronze ambition Glow'n'Go instant tan shimmer from Home Bargins. This is my favourite wash-off tan and a complete steal for the price (can't remember the actual price but it's less than £2). It's like a lotion, but it blends really nicely so I never look streaky. Plus it takes a couple of minutes to set, so any mistakes can be corrected without a fuss. Also, as the name suggests, there is a slight shimmer running through it, it works wonders on perfecting my slightly bruised limbs  #DancerProblems.

As for nails, I am wearing Models Own in Thunder and Lightening on my toes and George Gel Pro nail polish in the shade Nude beige on my fingers. Wouldn't recommend either of these though. I had to put 4 layers of the Models Own one on to get the true colour pay off and the George one took forever to dry.

Hair

Seeing as the back was the main focus of this outfit, I wanted my hair up but definitely not slicked back, so I french plaited it round the left side of my head round into a side messy bun, just for a bit of pazaz.
